I draw what I feel, not what I see
I’m Juliette, an illustrator from France.
I didn’t study art formally, but I always carried a sketchbook since I was twelve.
At first, I drew just to escape — school, noise, people. But over time, drawing became my way of documenting what I couldn’t say out loud.
My style isn’t clean. I like rough pencil strokes, unfinished lines, smudges. I believe imperfection shows truth.
I’m drawn to solitude, emotional scenes, and quiet moments that most people overlook. I sketch a lot from memory, and sometimes from dreams.
I don’t post daily. I create when something moves me. And when it does, I try to put that feeling into lines and silence.
Art, for me, is not a job. It’s how I make sense of the chaos inside.
